MANIFESTING NEW ENERGY WITH A NEW SPACE
I know it may sound cliche, but a new room can really set the tone for the new year! Especially after what a year 2020 was, am I right? Although it may have been a year we never anticipated, it didn’t stop my clients and I from making their design dreams come to life! This has to be one of my favorite projects of the year. I was immediately drawn to the A-Frame design and knew that we were going to work together to turn this attic into something truly special and add more uniqueness to the home.
The room itself is bright and bold, so we played with the idea of an accent wall to make the space pop just a little bit more, using the rich Hunter Green by Benjamin Moore Paints. I wanted to combine earthy masculinity with a touch of glam that enveloped my clients and their style, so we chose to pair the deep hues of the accent wall with chic, gold lighting fixtures. Adding blocks on each side of the wall to create pendant lights to warm up the room. Chic and simple, but bold. The bathroom was small, but there was room to work with, bringing it to life with a fun mirror and floating vanity to add a touch of glam and chicness to the room.

Let’s talk about the accents, shall we? I cannot get enough of the vibrant floral wallpaper that dances around the room and create a dainty, feminine feel while still remaining earthy and modern. The artwork framed above the bed of the client’s wife really tied the room together and made the room not just a newly renovated space, but a room to celebrate his love for his wife. A photoshoot that I was elated to be a part of, styled and planned by my team and I!
